What it is
Prelims draws its current affairs from roughly the year and a half before the paper, so that is the window this module covers, in full: everything from January 2026 to 10 May 2027.
Every class looks beneath the headline to the concept the question will actually test: the institution, the law, the scheme, the science or the place behind the news item. Each class comes with its own notes and practice questions.
The classes run in their own slots, so they never clash with General Studies, CSAT or any other module, and they close one week before the examination. General Studies classes still bring current affairs into every subject as it is taught; this module is the separate, systematic pass over the whole window.
What the window covers
- Polity and Governance
- Economy
- Ecology and Environment
- International Relations and Global Affairs
- Government Schemes
- Places in News, in India and the world
- Awards, Sports, Summits and Missions
Free beside it: the daily current affairs questions and the current affairs digest.
